Getting started

Install Mint Urgency from the Shopify App Store and open it from your Shopify admin.
Click New announcement bar (or Free-shipping bar), write your messages and click Save. Saving publishes it to your store straight away.
On the app's home page click Open app embeds. Your theme editor opens on App embeds — switch on Urgency bars and click Save.
For countdown timers (Pro), click Add timer block: the Countdown timer block is added to your product page. Drag it near the buy buttons and save.

Free-shipping bar

Set the threshold to the same amount as your free-shipping rate (Settings → Shipping and delivery).
The bar compares it with the cart total after discounts, and updates when items are added or removed — including from cart drawers and quick-add buttons.
Shoppers paying in another currency see the threshold converted at Shopify's exchange rate. If your market has its own fixed free-shipping amount, add it under Other currencies. If a currency can't be converted, the bar hides rather than show a wrong amount.

Countdown timers

Fixed date: counts down to the date and time your offer really ends, then hides (or shows your "ended" message).
Daily cutoff: counts down to your order cutoff on the days you dispatch, e.g. "Order within 3h 12m to ship today". After the cutoff it counts to the next working day; add holidays under Closed dates.
All times use your store's timezone (Settings → General), and daylight saving is handled automatically.
Timers never restart for new visitors — every shopper sees the same deadline.

A bar or timer isn't showing?

Check the Urgency bars app embed is switched on in your live theme (Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds).
Check it's Active, and on Pro that its schedule and page targeting include now and this page.
If you closed a bar yourself while testing, it stays closed in that browser until you change the bar — try a private window.
On the Free plan only your first announcement bar and first free-shipping bar are shown, and timers need Pro.
Only one announcement bar per position and one free-shipping bar show on a page: the first matching one in your list.

Billing

Pro is billed through Shopify at $4.99/month after a 7-day free trial. Cancel anytime from the app's Plans page or by uninstalling the app — you won't be charged again. If you cancel, your bars and timers are kept; extra bars, timers, schedules, targeting and custom colours switch off.
